Kirkland Advises Invesco Real Estate on its JV Formation with Ziroom and the JV’s Debut Acquisition in Beijing

Kirkland & Ellis advised Invesco Real Estate on the formation of a joint venture (“Izara Holdings") to invest in and manage rental housing assets with Ziroom, a leading rental services company that offers home rental and property management services in China.

Izara Holdings represents a strategic partnership that will act as the exclusive platform for both companies to invest in and operate rental housing assets throughout China. The Kirkland team also advised Izara Holdings on the formation of an investment vehicle and its debut acquisition of a large-scale, purpose-built rental housing development in Beijing, China with an expected total investment of RMB1.2 billion (approximately US$170 million).
