Kirkland Advises Nexus Capital Management on Acquisition of Tricam Industries

Kirkland & Ellis advised Los Angeles-based alternative asset management firm Nexus Capital Management LP on the acquisition of Tricam Industries, LLC, a company that specializes in the design, development and engineering of consumer and professional home improvement equipment, including ladders and step stools, garden carts, wheelbarrows, hose reels and hand trucks, among others. Nexus announced on February 3, 2025 that it was partnering with the management team and existing owners, the McMunn family, to buy the company, which primarily sells its products through home center and retail channels across North America, Australia and New Zealand under their flagship Gorilla brand, as well as other owned and licensed brands.
