Kirkland & Ellis advised UBS AG, as the financial adviser to Guotai Junan Securities Co., Ltd. (HKSE: 2611; SSE: 601211), in the merger and share exchange with Haitong Securities Co., Ltd. (HKSE: 6837; SSE: 600837). The newly merged company (HKSE: 2611; SSE: 601211) commenced trading on March 17, 2025.
