The 19th Annual Wharton Restructuring and Distressed Investing Conference
The Wharton School will host their 19th Annual Wharton Restructuring and Distressed Investing Conference on Friday, February 24, 2023 at the Plaza Hotel in New York City. This year’s theme, “Finding Opportunity in a Recessionary Environment,” will cover relevant economic issues faced in today’s market and their impact on activities such as distressed investing, restructurings and liability management.
Kirkland partner Edward Sassower will interview one of the keynote speakers at the Conference. Kirkland partner Aparna Yenamandra will interview The Honorable Brandon L. Shannon, who is a Bankruptcy Judge for the District of Delaware. Kirkland partners Derek Hunter and Austin Witt will participate in the “Distressed Hedge Funds” session as a moderator and panelist, respectively. This session will examine the market’s effect on distressed investing and the role distressed funds play in managing liabilities.
