29th Annual Stanford Directors’ College

Kirkland is a proud sponsor of the 29th Annual Stanford Directors’ College taking place at Stanford Law School on June 24–26, 2024. Directors’ College is the nation’s premier executive education program for directors and C-level executives of publicly traded firms.

Kirkland partner Shaun Mathew will participate in the panel discussion “Crisis Anticipation and Management,” and partner Michael Brueck will facilitate tabletop exercises on M&A, antitrust and CEO succession. The panel will focus in particular on patterns common to board-level crisis situations, communications and the delegation of responsibility, the potential value of tabletop exercises as a means of preparation, and the need to balance legal concerns with the required responses to public, consumer, and regulatory demands for information.
