Joseph Baldwin is a partner in the Investment Funds Group at Kirkland & Ellis LLP where he focuses exclusively on structuring, negotiating and forming real estate funds and their management companies and related matters. Joseph has represented numerous global real estate and other private equity fund sponsors in establishing open-end and closed-end investment funds, vehicles and other accounts, including co-investment programs, separately managed accounts and programmatic and other joint ventures, with a broad range of investment strategies.
In addition to capital formation, Joseph also advises such sponsors on a wide range of complex matters, including GP-led transactions (roll-ups, etc.), seed capital and anchor investor arrangements, and other significant matters and transactions.
