Since joining Kirkland in February 2019, some of the matters which Alex has advised on include the following:

• Preservation Capital Partners on the formation and closing of Preservation Capital Partners Fund II.
• Resolution Life on Resolution Life Group Holdings’ formation, raising approximately $5 billion for life insurance investments, together with its subsequent strategic partnership, and equity raise, with Blackstone.
• Bridgepoint Direct Lending III, a European direct lending fund with €3.4 billion of investable capital (including associated separately managed accounts).
• Copenhagen Infrastructure on the closing of its ~€1 billion CI Green Credit Fund.
• EQT Partners on the formation of EQT Real Estate II, a €1 billion Europe real estate fund.
• Nordic Capital on the formation of (i) Nordic Capital Fund X with aggregate capital commitments of €6.1 billion and (ii) its €1.2 billion Nordic Capital Evolution Fund.
• World Quantum Growth Acquisition Corp., a FinTech focused special purpose acquisition company, in connection with its $200 million IPO.
• Preservation Capital Partners on various ongoing fundraising matters.
• Lion Capital on various ongoing fundraising matters.

Prior to joining Kirkland in February 2019, Alex represented the sponsor on the following matters:

• Cinven on the formation of the Sixth Cinven Fund, a €7 billion private equity fund.
• CVC Capital Partners on the formation of CVC VII, a €16 billion private equity fund.
• EQT on the formation of various funds, namely EQT Infrastructure III (€4,046 billion), EQT Mid Market Asia III (US$744 million), EQT Mid Market Europe (€1.616 billion), EQT Mid Market US (US$695 million), and EQT VIII (€10.91 billion).
• Triton in the formation of Triton V, a €5 billion private equity fund.
