Rachael Coffey is a transactional partner in the New York office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Rachael focuses her practice on advising public and private companies as well as private equity clients on a broad range of M&A transactions, activist defense and other significant corporate matters. Her extensive experience also includes representing boards of directors and special committees in contested situations.

Rachael has been recognized by Chambers USA (2026) on its “Up-and-Coming” list, Law360 (2021) as a “Rising Star” and by The Deal as one of its “Top Women in Dealmaking” (2021) and a “Rising Star” (2020) among M&A lawyers.
