Brian Ferrell is a corporate associate in the Bay Area office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. His practice primarily involves representing private equity sponsors and private companies in complex transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations and restructurings, and general corporate matters.
Prior to joining Kirkland, Brian was a technology investment banking senior associate at Piper Sandler & Co. where he covered legal technology and advised companies and investors on strategic transactions and capital raising activities. As an investment banker, Brian held various securities industry credentials including the Series 63, Series 65 and Series 79. Prior to attending law school, Brian completed General Electric's two-year Financial Management Program.
