Overview

Austin Glassman is a corporate partner in Kirkland’s Los Angeles office. He represents top-tier private equity sponsors, investment funds, public and private companies and capital sources in complex financing transactions, including leveraged buyouts, cross-border financings, recapitalizations, in- and out-of-court restructurings, liability management exercises and other special situations. Austin handles a variety of financing structures, including syndicated and direct lender debt financings, first- and second-lien financings, bank-bond facilities, split collateral structures, asset-based loans, unitranche financings, subordinated financings, debtor-in-possession and exit financings and preferred equity issuances. Austin has led financings ranging in size from the tens of millions to nearly $20 billion, handling some of the most complex and notable transactions in industries including software, technology, industrials, healthcare, retail, media, dining, entertainment and energy.
