Overview

Ethan Green is a corporate partner in the Investment Funds Group in the New York office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. His practice focuses on advising sponsors regarding private fund matters, including forming, marketing and managing investment vehicles for private equity, credit, real estate and other alternative funds, launching new investment products and business lines, and administrative, operational, regulatory and advisory issues at both the fund and sponsor level.

As an additional component of his practice, Ethan has advised both emerging and established fund sponsors on a broad range of fundamental corporate transactions across both the “buy-side” and “sell-side” including “GP stake” minority investments, liquidity events and bespoke seeding arrangements, as well as other strategic matters relating to the structuring of asset management businesses, incentive compensation and equity ownership arrangements, succession planning and upper-tier disputes and departures.
