David is a partner in the Investment Funds Group at Kirkland & Ellis, advising and representing venture capital, growth equity and private equity clients in all stages of fund formation and in the full spectrum of corporate and transactional matters, including governance, upper-tier structuring, succession planning and marketing to prospective investors.
David also has experience representing sponsors and their private funds in secondary transactions, real estate fundraisings, debt fundraisings and GP-led restructurings.
At his prior firm, David represented numerous venture capital, growth equity and private equity funds in their structuring, formation, corporate governance and other fundraisings and bespoke transactions.
David also served as a member of the Hiring Committee, the Investment Funds Training Committee and was actively involved in training and mentoring associates at his prior firm.
