Prior to joining Kirkland, Tiffany was involved in the following matters:

• Represented a provider of high performance SSDs and modular memory subsystems as complainant before the ITC against Korean-based memory company SK Hynix. The matter involved patents related to server memory module products, including technology that is essential to certain JEDEC memory standards. Following oral hearing in October 2019, the Administrative Law Judge issued an Initial Determination finding infringement of one of Netlist’s patents and recommended a limited exclusion order be issued.
• Defended an international wireless and broadcast communications infrastructure company in a trade secrets action, which was successfully dismissed in favor of arbitration.
• Represented a large medical device manufacturer in asserting patent infringement and unfair competition claims against the client’s largest competitor in a case involving the use of flocking technology in the production of biological sample collection swabs.
• Defended a smart parking devices and systems company against claims of patent infringement asserted by a major competitor, which the plaintiff voluntarily dismissed prior to trial.
