Overview
Kalish Mullen is a debt finance partner in the Paris office of Kirkland & Ellis International LLP. Kalish is dual qualified (English law and French law) and acts principally for private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies on cross-border leveraged acquisition financings and other financing transactions. He also has experience on infrastructure finance and debt restructuring transactions.
Kalish is recognised by The Legal 500 EMEA (2023) as a “recommended lawyer”, with clients describing him as “outstanding.”

- Searchlight Capital on a €307 million recapitalization of Latécoère.

- Infravia on the €425 million financing of its acquisition of Grandir from Eurazeo.
- Montagu on the financing of its acquisition of IMV Technologies from Qualium Investissement.
- Orange on the implementation of a €1.2 billion staple financing relating to the disposal of 50% of its subsidiary operating its rural fixed fibre infrastructure assets and comprising of 23 public initiative networks.
- LFPI and Montefiore on the disposal of MyFlower (including Interflora) to PAI Partners.
- Elsan Group on:
- the €350 million financing of its acquisition of Groupe C2S from Eurazeo; and
- the extension of its senior indebtedness, the incorporation of a portability feature and the raising of a €100 million additional facility.
- 3i and Havea Group on:
- the amendment and extension of its senior facilities;
- the financing of the acquisition of Pasquali Healthcare;
- the raising of a €25 million incremental facility; and
