Overview

Garry J. Padrta is a partner in Kirkland’s M&A/Private Equity Practice Group in the Los Angeles office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Garry routinely represents strategic and financial parties in a variety of corporate transactions, including leveraged buyouts, public and private mergers and acquisitions, equity investments, spin-offs, reorganizations, restructurings, and recapitalizations. He also represents his clients in connection with corporate governance matters.

Garry regularly executes transactions in a myriad industries, including consumer products, apparel, media production, clean energy, healthcare, light manufacturing, food and beverage, software, health and fitness, and product distribution.

Transactions on which Garry acted as lead counsel have been featured in various media outlets, including the Los Angeles Business Journal and the Hollywood Reporter.
