Cole Parker is a corporate partner in the Chicago office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. His practice concentrates on negotiating and structuring complex business transactions, including leveraged buyouts, domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, venture capital and growth equity investments, carve-outs, and general corporate counseling for public and privately held companies and family offices, private equity funds and their respective portfolio companies.
Cole co-leads the Firm’s Private Investment & Family Office Practice and advises family offices on mergers and acquisitions, structuring traditional and alternative family office vehicles, management carry programs, key employee co-invest vehicles and cash management systems to support cash flow needs of families and their investment vehicles.
Cole has represented private equity funds including A&M Capital, Beecken Petty O’Keefe & Company, Chicago Growth Partners, Great Point Partners, H.I.G. Capital, J.W. Childs Associates, New Water Capital, Olympus Partners, ParkerGale, Pritzker Group Private Capital, Thoma Bravo, Thomas H. Lee Partners and Union Park Capital, as well as companies including Actuant Corporation, iManage, Lou Malnati’s, Regal Beloit and The HEICO Companies.
