In the past 18 months alone, Stefan has represented numerous private equity sponsors selling interests in their firms to various prominent buyers in this rapidly evolving market, including AE Industrial Partners, Carnelian Energy Capital, Cortec Group, Golub Capital, MSouth Equity Partners, Siris Capital, and a number of other clients on closed (unannounced) and active transactions.
Stefan has represented high-profile private equity sponsors in the formation of their fund and other investment vehicles covering a wide spectrum of sectors, geographies and strategies, raising billions of dollars. He also regularly counsels leading private equity sponsors in connection with establishing, documenting and implementing internal firm restructuring and succession planning arrangements, as well as a wide range of ordinary course and extraordinary corporate matters.
