Matthew Pinegar is a partner in the Investment Funds Practice Group in the Salt Lake City office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. His practice focuses on representing private equity and other alternative asset managers in fundraising, governance, organizational structure, internal operations, regulatory compliance and related matters.
Matthew’s practice has an emphasis in structuring and forming private funds and their management companies across a wide variety of investment strategies. He has represented sponsors in forming private funds ranging in both size, from under $100 million to several billion, and geography.
