Overview

Omar Raddawi is a debt finance partner in the New York office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. He represents private equity firms, their portfolio companies, asset managers and public and private companies in a range of complex debt financing transactions, including leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, in-and out-of-court restructurings, liability management exercises and other special situations. Omar handles a variety of financing structures, including syndicated and private credit financings, first- and second-lien financings, bank-bond facilities, asset-based loans, back leverage facilities, debtor-in-possession financings, exit financings and preferred equity issuances. He has led transactions in various industries, including software/technology, financial services, industrials and healthcare.

His experience includes advising, among others, Thoma Bravo, Cinven, Lone Star Funds, Warburg Pincus, New Mountain Capital, Nordic Capital, Olympus Partners and Brightstar Capital Partners.
