Kirkland Counsels Warburg Pincus on Sale of Aquila Air Capital to Wafra

Kirkland & Ellis advised Warburg Pincus on the sale of its portfolio company Aquila Air Capital, a full-service aircraft leasing and financing platform, to funds managed by Wafra Inc., a global alternative asset manager. The transaction is expected to close in Q4 2024, pending receipt of customary regulatory approvals. The financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
