Since joining Kirkland, Emma has worked on the following matters:

• TPG on the acquisition of Aareon for €3.9 billion
• GIP on its acquisition by BlackRock
• Digital 9 Infrastructure on the sale of Verne Global
• Astira Capital Partners on the close of its $675 million debut fund

Prior to joining Kirkland, Emma worked on the following matters:

• advising various asset managers, insurers and insurance brokers on the implementation and ongoing application of the FCA’s Senior Managers and Certification regime;
• advising a range of businesses on the FCA’s Appointed Representative regime under the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000;
• advising an international diversified insurance and underwriting group on the acquisition of a global broker network;
• advising an international telecommunications group on the acquisition and subsequent integration of a UK insurance intermediary with an ‘insuretech’ offering; and
• advising various asset managers and insurance brokers on their post-Brexit operating models.
