Kirkland Advises TPG and GIC on Financing for Acquisition of Techem
Kirkland & Ellis is advising TPG Rise Climate, the dedicated climate investing strategy of TPG’s global impact investing platform, and GIC, a leading global investor, on the financing for the agreement to acquire Techem Group. Techem will be acquired for a total consideration of approximately €6.7 billion. The transaction is expected to close in the first half of 2025, subject to customary conditions and regulatory approvals.
Techem is a leading service provider for smart and sustainable buildings, servicing more than 13 million dwellings with over 62 million digital measuring devices on its platform.
