Overview

Andrew Shiner is a partner in the Real Estate Practice Group in the Firm's New York office. Andrew regularly represents real estate private equity sponsors in connection with fund formation and structuring, fundraising and joint venture activities. Andrew is also regularly involved in secondaries transfers and matters relating to the operation and management of investment funds and fund sponsors.

Andrew has represented fund sponsors in connection with investment fund offerings totaling in excess of $35 billion of capital commitments. He has also represented a major non-U.S. financial institution in connection with various mergers and acquisitions related matters and in connection with the disposition of a portfolio of more than 200 private equity fund interests, as well as various U.S. and non-U.S. entities (including both financial and strategic buyers and sellers) in connection with various mid-market mergers and acquisitions related matters.
