Overview

Spencer Topham is a corporate partner in the Salt Lake City office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Spencer's practice focuses on representing private equity sponsors, as well as public and private company clients in complex business transactions, including strategic mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, debt and equity restructurings, leveraged buyouts and related general corporate counseling.

Spencer also advises private investment funds on a range of complex business transactions in the secondary market, including GP led secondaries, strategic minority GP stakes transactions and structured secondaries.
