Since joining Kirkland, Chi has worked on the following matters, advising:

• Thomas H. Lee Partners and its portfolio company AutoStore, a Norwegian robotics company, on its $12.4 billion IPO on the Oslo Stock Exchange
• Affimed N.V., a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on discovering and developing targeted cancer immunotherapies, in its follow-on offering of $115 million common shares as well as a separate at-the-market offering of $75 million common shares
• SVB Leerink, BTIG and Needham & Company in connection with a $115 million public offering of American depositary shares by Mereo BioPharma Group plc, a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on oncology and rare diseases
• TVL Finance plc, an affiliate of Travelodge Hotels, in its private placement offering of £65 million senior secured notes and consent solicitation from noteholders of existing senior secured notes
• Ultra Petroleum Corp. in its exchange of $780 million of senior unsecured notes for $545 million of senior secured second lien notes and warrants
• Vitamin Shoppe, Inc. in connection with its $208 million all-cash acquisition by Franchise Group, Inc. (formerly known as Liberty Tax, Inc.)
• Modulaire Group (formerly known as Algeco Global), a portfolio company of TDR Capital, in connection with the offering by Algeco Global Finance plc of €175 million senior secured notes
• Mountaingate Capital in connection with its acquisition of Great Lakes Scrip Center
• Warburg Pincus as lead investor in a $350 million convertible preferred equity investment in SemGroup Corporation

Prior to joining Kirkland, Chi worked on the following matters, advising:

• Alvotech, a global biopharmaceutical company, in its U.S. and Icelandic initial public offerings via merger with special purpose acquisition company Oaktree Acquisition Corp. II
• Biote, a business within the hormone optimization space, in its U.S. initial public offering via merger with special purpose acquisition company Haymaker Acquisition Corp III
• Super Group (SGHC Limited), the NYSE-listed holding company for global online sports betting and gaming businesses Betway and Spin, in its public warrant exchange offer and consent solicitation removing the potential issuance of approximately 78.8 million ordinary shares, lowering diluted share count by 13.6%
