A Chicago-based firm with a "strong East Coast presence," the firm has a history of raising "good IP litigators." The team covers all aspects of IP, particularly patent litigation, notably in the spheres of biotechnology, IT, computers and electronics work. It represented Micron Technology v Mosel Vitelic in four separate patent cases, and recently achieved a successful patent defense on behalf of Oxford Gene Technologies v Affymetrix. Other important matters include representing Netscape in connection with two large patent infringement cases involving IT-related patent infringement allegations, and it is currently handling two large cases for AOL. Clients: 3M, Hitachi, AOL.
