In Turnarounds & Workouts’ annual report on the bankruptcy industry, Kirkland was recognized as debtor counsel for three of the 10 most successful restructurings of 2015.

Partners Edward Sassower, Stephen Hessler, Brian Schartz, James Sprayregen, Chad Husnick, Andrew McGaan, William Pruitt, Bridget O’Connor and Mark McKane were debtor’s counsel to Energy Future Holdings Corporation, one of the largest Chapter 11 cases in U.S. history.
