Kirkland Partners Michele Cumpston and Sharre Lotfollahi Named Among L.A. Business Journal’s 2024 Women of Influence: Attorneys

The Los Angeles Business Journal named Kirkland & Ellis partners Michele Cumpston and Sharre Lotfollahi among its 2024 “Women of Influence: Attorneys.” Honorees are recognized for exceptional legal skill and achievement across the full spectrum of responsibility, exemplary leadership as evidenced by the highest professional and ethical standards, and for contributions to the Los Angeles community at large.

Michele, a corporate partner, was lauded by the publication as a “fierce advocate for her clients and a respected negotiator among her peers,” one who has led or played a significant role in deals with an aggregate value of more than $10 billion over the past 18 months. Sharre, an intellectual property partner, was noted in particular for her trial experience, having been a member of nine trial teams and serving as first chair on two high-profile bono cases, as well as for distinguishing herself “as a leading practitioner on some of the most high-ticket and consequential trade secrets matters of the last few years.”
