Kirkland Partners Dale Cendali and Nicola Dagg Named Among Managing IP’s Top 250 Women in IP for 2024
Managing Intellectual Property named Kirkland & Ellis partners Dale Cendali and Nicola Dagg to its 2024 list of the “Top 250 Women in IP.” The list recognizes the leading female IP practitioners in private practice who have performed exceptionally for their clients and firms in the past year.
Nicola told the publication that she aims to continue making a difference as a woman leader in IP by “hiring and mentoring more women and promoting and providing a platform for the fantastic women in in-house roles.”
Dale is a nationally recognized leader in the field of intellectual property litigation, having successfully litigated and tried numerous high-profile cases, and having argued before the U.S. Supreme Court. Her practice encompasses copyright, trademark, false advertising, patent, Internet, and trade secrets law, as well as defamation, the right of publicity, privacy, complex contract disputes and similar areas, including electronic discovery. Dale heads Kirkland’s Copyright, Trademark, Internet and Advertising Practice Group.
Nicola, meanwhile, has a practice that spans four areas: (1) strategic patent and product lifecycle advice; (2) patent litigation; (3) coordinating global IP enforcement/defence cases; and (4) standard essential patent (SEP) and FRAND disputes. She has extensive experience on all aspects of intellectual property advisory and litigation work, including blockbuster small molecule litigation against generic companies, biologics and biosimilar litigation, antibodies, immunotherapies, genetics, vaccines, diagnostics and gene therapies.
