Kirkland Partners Michael De Vries and Ellisen Turner Named to 2024 LA500 List
The Los Angeles Business Journal named Kirkland & Ellis partners Michael De Vries and Ellisen Turner to its “LA500” list for 2024. The list recognizes the most influential and impactful business leaders in the Los Angeles region.
Michael was noted by the publication as being “among the top intellectual property litigators in the nation,” one who “has secured more than $2.5 billion in verdicts and settlements since 2018, including five consecutive jury verdicts since 2019 that have netted $1.8 billion in damages.” Ellisen was recognized for “help(ing) clients earn billions in revenue for patented technologies while successfully defending cases with billions at stake.”
Michael is a nationally recognized IP trial lawyer with substantial success representing plaintiffs in high-stakes intellectual property trials. He has served as lead counsel in numerous patent and other intellectual property-related matters.
