Kirkland Partner Maggie Flores Recognized in Bloomberg's "They've Got Next" Series 2024

Bloomberg Law named Kirkland & Ellis partner Maggie Flores to its prestigious “They’ve Got Next: The 40 Under 40” list for 2024. Maggie was one of only six attorneys nationwide selected for Bloomberg’s “Mergers & Acquisitions” category.

In an accompanying profile, Maggie discusses her most substantial wins for clients, important lessons she learned at the beginning of her career and how she defines success in her practice. She also touches on the value of quality mentorship in building a successful career.

“It’s easy to suggest that success in M&A be defined by outcomes—the number of deals completed, the size of the deals, or the accolades won. But to me, the true measure of success in my practice has been the moments where I’ve been able to impart understanding, knowledge or simple practice tips to the associates and junior partners who’ve worked with me, and then to see those tips played back to me in real time as they develop their own skills.”
