Kirkland Partners Corey Fox and Chad Husnick Named Among Chicago's Notable Leaders in Accounting, Consulting & Law 2024
Crain’s Chicago Business named Kirkland & Ellis partners Corey Fox and Chad Husnick to its 2024 list of “Notable Leaders in Accounting, Consulting & Law.” The list honors Chicago-based professionals serving in a senior leadership role at their respective companies.
Corey was particularly noted for his work on behalf of Thoma Bravo, including representing its portfolio company, Adenza, in its $10.5 billion sale to Nasdaq. His practice is primarily focused on counseling private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies in structuring, negotiating and executing complex business transactions, including domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, leveraged buyouts, going-private transactions, purchases and sales through bankruptcy, carve-out transactions, corporate restructurings, recapitalizations, dividends and equity financings as well as general corporate matters.
Chad was noted for his representation of Nordic Aviation Capital in U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, the largest Chapter 11 filing of 2021. He routinely represents debtors, creditors, equity holders, and other stakeholders in all aspects of corporate liability management, restructuring, bankruptcy, and insolvency proceedings.
