Kirkland Partners Stephen Lucas and David Higgins Named Among the Most Influential Leaders in European Finance 2024

Financial News named Kirkland & Ellis partners Stephen Lucas and David Higgins to its inaugural 2024 list of the “Most Influential in European Finance.”

Stephen has been instrumental in driving the growth of Kirkland’s European business since he joined the Firm in 2014. He advises many of the Firm’s major private equity sponsors on market precedent-setting transactions and recently advised Apollo on the financing for its recommended cash acquisition of The Restaurant Group plc, as well as BC Partners-backed Valtech on the financing for its take private of Kin and Carta plc.

David was noted for his for his work advising private equity firms on public and private acquisitions, take-privates, carve-outs, distressed acquisitions and consortium deals. He recently advised Blackstone on the recommended cash acquisition of Hipgnosis, as well as advising Nordic Capital on its sale of Sunrise Medical to Platinum Equity.
