Kirkland Partner Kat Li Receives 2025 J. Stephen Ravel Award

The Central Texas Federal Bench Bar honored Kirkland partner Kat Li with the 2025 J. Stephen Ravel Award. The award is presented annually to a lawyer practicing before federal courts in Central Texas who exemplifies integrity, professionalism, creativity, collegiality and wit — all qualities of the late Steve Ravel, who was an accomplished attorney and patent litigator in Austin.

Kat is an intellectual property litigator in Kirkland’s Austin office focusing on patent and technology litigation. She has represented Fortune 500 companies in U.S. District Court, the International Trade Commission, the Patent Trial and Appeal Board, and the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
