Thoma Bravo Takes SonicWALL Private

"Internet security company SonicWALL Inc. said late Wednesday it would go private, selling to an investor group led by Thoma Bravo LLC for $717 million in cash.

The deal, which is subject to shareholder approval but not to a financing condition, is expected to close in late 2010 or early 2011.
