Litigator of the Week Runners-Up and Shout Outs

Partners Jay Lefkowitz, Devora Allon and John Del Monaco were recognized as runners-up for The American Lawyer Litigation Daily's "Litigator of the Week" for their work for client Teva Pharmaceuticals. 

"... Jay Lefkowitz, Devora Allon and John Del Monaco of Kirkland & Ellis helped client Teva Pharmaceuticals fend off claims for $200 million dollars in milestone payments and a request for the reversion of the rights to the monoclonal antibody Reslizumab from former stockholders of Ception Therapeutics. After a five-day trial, Delaware Vice Chancellor Sam Glasscock found this week that Teva hadn’t breached a clause in its merger agreement with Ception to use “commercially reasonable efforts” to commercialize using the antibody to treat a certain kind of inflammation in the esophagus."
