Litigator of the Week Runners-Up and Shout-Outs

Michael Glick, T.J. McCarrick and Conley Hurst received a shout-out for The American Lawyer Litigation Daily's "Litigator of the Week" for their work for client Abbott Laboratories. 

"... Shout-out to a Kirkland & Ellis team led by partner Michael Glick that got an appellate court to uphold the firm’s win for client Abbott in a lawsuit targeting health and wellness statements on the labels for the company’s Ensure nutrition shakes and drinks. The plaintiff claimed the statements were false and misleading because of the high amount of added sugar in the products. However, a Second Circuit panel upheld the dismissal of the proposed class action last week, holding that “none of the challenged statements reference the sugar content of the product; indeed, none of the labeling statements at issue even mentions sugar.” The Kirkland team representing Abbott included partner T.J.
