Kirkland Advises Klöckner Pentaplast on Acquisition of LINPAC
Kirkland & Ellis is advising Klockner Pentaplast, a global leader in packaging solutions, in its transformational acquisition of LINPAC. The transaction, the financial terms of which were not disclosed, was announced on April 7, 2017 and will create a one-stop-shop in the rigid and flexible film market for customers worldwide, with combined annual revenues exceeding US$2 billion.
The international Kirkland team is being led by corporate partners David Patrick Eich and Carl Bradshaw, capital markets partner William Burke, debt finance partners Ashley Gregory and Kathryn Leonard, intellectual property and technology transactions partner Emma Flett, tax partners Timothy Lowe, Russell Light and Oded Schein, and international trade partner Mario Mancuso.
