Kirkland & Ellis represented The Marshall Retail Group, LLC in its sale to WH Smith PLC. Marshall Retail, a portfolio company of leading middle-market private equity investment firm Brentwood Associates, is America’s largest independent specialty retailer in the airport and resort marketplace. The deal is valued at $400 million.
