Kirkland Represents GTCR on Acquisition of Consumer Cellular
Kirkland & Ellis represents leading private equity firm GTCR, which announced today that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Consumer Cellular, Inc. Headquartered in Portland, Oregon, Consumer Cellular, provides postpaid wireless services with a focus on the 50+ demographic. The company currently serves approximately four million subscribers nationwide, providing affordable cellular plans and award-winning customer service. The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2020.
