Kirkland Counsels Oaktree on Investment in System One

Kirkland & Ellis advised Oaktree Capital Management, L.P., a leading global investment firm, on its definitive agreement to make a significant investment in System One Holdings, LLC. Part of the investment proceeds will be used for continued growth in addition to purchasing the interests of private equity firm, Thomas H. Lee Partners, System One’s current partner, which invested in the company in September 2016. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
