Kirkland Represents BBAM on FLY’s Sale to Carlyle Aviation for Approximately $2.36 Billion

Kirkland & Ellis advised BBAM LP, a worldwide leader in aircraft lease management and financing and the manager and servicer of Fly Leasing Limited (NYSE: FLY) (“FLY”), a global leader in aircraft leasing, in connection with FLY’s sale to an affiliate of Carlyle Aviation Partners. The total enterprise value of the transaction is approximately $2.36 billion. The transaction is expected to close in the third quarter of 2021 and is subject to customary closing conditions.
