Kirkland Advises Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan on Sale of Burton’s

Kirkland & Ellis advised Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan on its definitive agreement to sell Burton’s Biscuit Company to a Ferrero-related company. As part of the transaction, the Ferrero-related company will take over six production facilities in the United Kingdom, based in Blackpool, Dorset, Edinburgh, Livingston, Llantarnam and Isle of Arran employing approximately 2,000 people. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
