Kirkland & Ellis represented AE Industrial Partners-backed Redwire, a provider of mission-critical space solutions and components for the next-generation space economy, in its business combination with Genesis Park Acquisition Corp. (NYSE: GNPK), a special purpose acquisition company. Upon completion, Genesis Park Acquisition Corp. changed its name to Redwire Corporation. Redwire’s shares of common stock and warrants began trading on the NYSE on September 3, 2021, under the new ticker symbols “RDW” and “RDW WS,” respectively.
