Kirkland Advises Northleaf on Closing of First Open-End Infrastructure Fund
Kirkland & Ellis advised Northleaf Capital Partners, a global private markets investment firm with more than US$18 billion in private equity, private credit and infrastructure commitments under management, on the launch of Northleaf Essential Infrastructure Fund (NEIF), a new, US$800 million open-end infrastructure investment fund. NEIF is building a diversified and growing portfolio of mature mid-market infrastructure investments with stable, long-term cash flows and lower risk profiles. NEIF seeks to provide investors with diversification across geography and subsector, with a focus on contracted and regulated revenue frameworks.
