Kirkland Advises Oaktree on $100 Million Commitment to Energywell
Kirkland & Ellis counseled Oaktree Capital Management, L.P. on its $100 million capital commitment, together with Hartree Partners L.P., to Energywell LLC to create a technology-driven sustainable energy platform. Energywell will be led by industry veterans Michael Fallquist and Christian McArthur as co-Chief Executive Officers and Roop Bhullar as Chief Financial Officer plus the addition of Jonathan Rubenstein as General Counsel.
The Kirkland team was led by corporate partners Hamed Meshki and Michele Cumpston and associate Peter Liskanich.
