Kirkland Represents Funlive on Joint Venture with KKR for Multifamily Project in Beijing

Kirkland & Ellis advised Funlive, a China multifamily specialist, on its joint venture with KKR, a leading global investment firm, to acquire and operate a landmark multifamily project in Beijing (the project) from China SCE Group, an integrated urban services provider that focuses on real estate development. 

The joint venture aims to provide tenant customers with a premium living community environment. The project features a 3,000+ unit residential-for-rent community, and is located in a desirable and strategic location to high-speed rail and metro connectivity in China. 

The Kirkland team was led by transactional partners Paul Guan and Eugenie Hui.
