Kirkland Advises Tailwater on Joint Venture with Waste Management and Acquisition of Continuus Materials
Kirkland represented Tailwater Capital in connection with its acquisition of a significant interest in Continuus Materials. Tailwater is jointly acquiring Continuus with Waste Management (NYSE: WM) through a newly formed joint venture controlled by Waste Management and Tailwater. Continuus is a waste-to-product business that transforms discarded plastic and fiber material into valuable engineered building products. Among other products, Continuus manufactures Everboard, a commercial roofing material made of paper and plastic diverted from disposal.
