Kirkland Advises Ares on Strategic Investment with SB Energy of up to $600 Million

Kirkland & Ellis counseled funds managed by Ares Management Corp.’s Infrastructure and Power strategy on a strategic equity investment of up to $600 million in SB Energy, SoftBank Group Corp.’s U.S. Climate Infrastructure Technology platform. This investment brings together two leading technology and climate infrastructure investors to drive innovation and the deployment of clean energy at scale.
