Kirkland Represents Clearlake Capital Group, L.P. on Acquisition of Intertape Polymer Group Inc. for $2.6 Billion

Kirkland & Ellis advised an affiliate of Clearlake Capital Group, L.P. on its acquisition of Intertape Polymer Group Inc. (TSX:ITP) (“IPG”) for approximately $2.6 billion. IPG is a recognized leader in the development, manufacture and sale of a variety of paper and film based pressure-sensitive and water-activated tapes, stretch and shrink films, protective packaging, woven and non-woven products and packaging machinery for industrial and retail use. The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions and is expected to close in the third quarter of 2022.
